Boronia Park gets put to the test

Who better to test a new playground but local children.
Last month our team joined City of Parramatta to welcome children from KU Isobel Pulsford Preschool to the Boronia Park job site in Epping, Sydney.
Looking the part in their miniature high vis vests, the kids were given an induction and site tour before they set to work planting trees and trialling the new play equipment. Their excitement was evident, as they tried out the new slide and climbing structures giving them the thumbs up.
The park is now complete and open to the public for the enjoyment of all local children and their families.
Key construction features for this projects were:
- Reconstruct concrete path – almost 1km
- New lighting system with over 30 light poles
- New playground surfaces and rejuvenation of the whole area
- Installation of new furniture
- Soft landscaping
- Extension of oval seating
