Delivering in Victoria for Hutchinson, Kane and Lloyd

13 Nov 2019

Our Victorian team has been kept busy over the past months delivering projects for Hutchinson Builders, Kane Constructions and Lloyd Group.

In April we completed hardscape and soft landscaping at Peters Ice Cream’s new head office for Kane Constructions. The project saw us undertake earthworks, irrigation, soil importation, grassing, planting and mulching, as well as concrete works. Working within an already tight time frame, we managed to deliver additional works including earthworks, garden beds and planting within the original completion date. Both Kane Constructions and their client (Peters Ice Cream) where extremely happy with the results.

We also completed upgrades at La Trobe University’s Union Hall for Hutchinson Builders. Our team worked closely with Hutchinson’s to adapt changes so that established trees remained undamaged whilst retaining the original design intent. Hard and soft works included demolition, earthworks, paving, concrete driveway, bluestone bollards, irrigation, sandstone retaining wall, soil importation, planting and mulching.

The University are extremely happy with the outcome and we hope that students and staff are enjoying their new surrounds.

In other news, we delivered our first project for Lloyd Group at Peninsula School in Mt Eliza. Works were delayed slightly due to the exciting Melbourne weather! Finally underway in May construction of the red gum retaining walls and edging, asphalt, concrete, sandstone crazy paving, raingardens, irrigation and planting were completed to an excellent standard under very difficult and wet conditions. We are currently looking into a number of projects for Lloyd Group and look forward to working with them again shortly.

Victorian State Manager Mr Stewart Owen said he is pleased with all delivery outcomes and is looking forward to further progress.

We’ve delivered some great projects for our clients and look forward to continuing our relationships. With many significant opportunities in the region, we want to continue demonstrating our capabilities across a range of landscape construction projects.”
