Landscaping the future at Australian Technology Park

13 Nov 2019

Glascott Landscape & Civil are delighted to be delivering a combination of landscaping and civil works which form part of Stage 1 of the Australian Technology Park Redevelopment (ATP).

ATP is situated in the Sydney CBD suburb of Eveleigh. The former rail yard is being redeveloped into one of Australia’s leading smart neighbourhoods with a vibrant precinct of commercial space, restaurants and community amenities. ATP will be home to some of Australia’s largest businesses including Commonwealth Bank and Channel 7.

This first time opportunity with Mirvac comprises the upgrade of the Innovation Plaza, Entry Garden, Eveleigh Green and adjacent Streetscape Improvement Works within the public domain.

Glascott will deliver a variety of works including the demolition of existing areas, bulk earthworks, new stormwater drainage, new electrical and lighting, off-form concrete structures, custom furniture, steel fabrication, associated soft landscaping and the construction of a new lift structure within the Entry Garden.

With two large scale packages running concurrently over a 12 month period, Glascott will showcase their ability in managing complex sequencing and staging, and delivering works with minimal disruption to site operations. The business was recently accredited by the Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) and implemented the new FSC system on this project to ensure the safety of site personnel and the general public.

Works commenced in early November and are expected to be complete by November 2018.
