Landscaping Pacific Cove Estate

13 Nov 2019

QM Properties turned to Glascott Landscape & Civil to provide landscaping at Pacific Cove Estate – a new master plan development in Pimpama, north of the Gold Coast.

Planit Consulting created the landscape vision for the new community, which is surrounded by a 10 hectares environmental corridor. Due to a decrease in koala numbers across Queensland over the past few decades, Planit undertook studies to ensure the design protected native animals and the long term impact on the environment.

Glascott has delivered various Stages starting with Stage 4 in 2015, then 6, 7 and 8 in 2016 and Stage 12 last year. Current works are Stages 1A and 1C and comprise streetscaping, fencing, revegetation planting along the environmental corridor, the featured entry statement, maintenance and park works. The park works includes tree planting, feature garden beds, installing a picnic setting with benches and shelter, construction of concrete pathways with edging and sandstone retaining walls. Glascott also managed the installation of the playground equipment.

Queensland Manager of Glascott, Brett Frostick said they have a strong partnership with QM Properties and Planit Consulting. “We’ve worked with QM Properties and Planit Consulting on various projects now and they know we are highly committed to delivering a quality product for their customers. It’s a pleasure to be part of this strong collaborative team.”

Glascott are moving into the final elements on Stages 1A and 1C. They were recently awarded a further stage, which will commence in the coming week.
