Glascott Landscape & Civil has a proud history of delivering environmentally sensitive projects in the ACT.

Following on from the successful collaboration between Glascott and Guideline ACT on the Dickson and Lyneham Ponds, work has commenced on the Cravens Creek Ponds at Denman Prospect – Canberra’s newest residential community.

The project facilitates the construction of a water quality control pond required to treat the urban stormwater run-off from Denman Prospect before it reaches the Molonglo River. Glascott will undertake sensitive work around protected habitat areas, as well as construction of new edge plantings to support the water quality control ponds.

Glascott are experienced in identifying and understanding environmental impacts within a scope of works, effectively managing the project whilst protecting and enhance the surrounding ecosystems.

Once complete the ponds will provide improved water quality, bird and plant life, aesthetics and recreational opportunities. Works commenced February ’16 and are due for completion mid-2016.
