Description:

The new Education Precinct at QUT was built to provide a range of contemporary learning and teaching spaces. Glascott Landscape & Civil delivered the landscaping packaging including construction work outside and inside the building.

Outside features include mature tree, decomposed granite pathways, turfed areas, soft landscaping throughout and a culturally significant fire pit. The atrium centrepiece inside the building features around 1,000 plants with mulch, a drip irrigation system and gravel swales to drain water and reduce moisture that may affect the state-of-the art technology.

Careful management ensured no damage to the new building and safety upheld during construction.
