Glascott sponsors Gordon Rugby Club
Glascott Landscape & Civil has sponsored the Gordon Rugby Club, which sees our distinctive logo emblazoned on the back of the player’s shorts.
Gordon Rugby Club is situated on Sydney’s North Shore near the Glascott head office. The business has a long history with the Club with Managing Director Matthew Glascott, and General Manager Matthew Bourke both playing for Gordon in the past.
Matthew Glascott is still actively involved and says the rugby community has been very supportive over the years and they are happy to give back,
“We are delighted to sponsor Gordon Rugby Club. It’s a perfect fit not only because of our long association but the great community and team spirit, which we also have in our business.”
Glascott provides landscape and civil construction services to government bodies, large building companies and developers, creating urban spaces, large infrastructure and commercial projects. Over the years, they have developed a number of public spaces in the local area including Hughes Park Lane Cove, Bradfield Park in North Sydney and the Coal Loader at Waverton where they are currently constructing the public green-roof.
The business is regularly involved in local community initiatives with their clients. This year they have helped create the FoodFaith Community Garden at Hughes Park, Lane Cove with Mirvac and a new play area at the North Sydney Child Care Centre with Laing O’Rourke.
With community engagement high on the agenda, the company looks forward to an even stronger association with the Gordon Rugby Club community.
