Completed Project: Hollis & Strickland ParksĀ
31 Mar 2021
We are thrilled to be delivering the new Hollis and Strickland parks simultaneously for the City of Sydney.
Developed over 20 years ago, the much-loved community space in the busy open spaces of Newtown is being upgraded to align with current standards and modern amenity. The driver behind these re-developments was to provide better suited playgrounds for the community directed at a changing demographic within the surrounding areas of both parks.
Architecturally directed by ASPECT studios, our role will be in assisting both council and the ASPECT team in flagging potential problems and effectively delivering outcomes to overcome these problems.
Glascott Landscape and Civil overcame multiple challenges that demonstrated persistence and wisdom, as they battled through the COVID-19 delays, whilst also working in a heavily populated area. The team had to ensure access to the public was always available, ensuring the site was safely constructed in an open area.
With the ongoing positive interaction with the local community, we are there to ensure the densely populated area and large community maintain trust in our team through our high standard maintenance services over the next 12 months.
City of Sydney have engage Glascott once again to deliver Lawrence Hardgrave Reserve, in Kings Cross. The same team will undertake the new project with aim of creating the same high quality results for our client and the community.
