Proudly funded by the NSW Government, McIlwaine Park Foreshore Upgrade is a landmark riverside activation project is transforming the City of Canada Bay.

Glascott Landscape and Civil’s dedicated team, working closely with Subcontractor partners & suppliers, has achieved significant milestones. From removing the Sheet pile Coffer Dam around the new Seawall, to installing the structural piling beneath the stairs, planting trees, completing turf areas, and setting up permanent irrigation, we’re making great strides.

Our recent activity, includes:

• Form, Rep Pour works to the beautifully designed, intricately curved staircases & structural elements
• Installation of sand to the beach area
• And preparation for shelter and BBQ slabs, along with the installation of inground services

Next, the team turns their attention to completing the Structural slab & ramp locations, concurrently with the installation of the sandstone seating walls through the plaza & beached area. Shelters, BBQs, and park furniture will also be installed, along with meandering pathways along the foreshore.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue working towards the completion of Sydney’s newest harbour beach within the coming months.
