Lake Eden Upgrade, North Lakes, Moreton Bay

Glascott Landscape & Civil are pleased to announce we will be delivering the major $1.5m transformation to the beautiful Lake Eden in the heart of North Lakes for City of Moreton Bay.

Council acknowledges the existing space as a regional attraction with increasingly high popularity over the past two decades, hence is “Continuing to invest in its evolution to ensure it remains modern and meets the expectations of our community,” Acting Mayor Jodie Shipway said.

The works will include a new civic space, picnic areas, playgrounds and car parking. The Arbour area will also be enhanced. Glascott, working in close collaboration with Moreton Bay Regional Council, is committed to breathing new life into this lakefront space, transforming it into a more vibrant, attractive, and engaging civic landmark.

Construction on this project will start in June 2023 and is due to be completed in Spring. We are looking forward to keeping you updated on this exciting project throughout the year.

Progress update – December 2023

The Lake Eden Playground project has reached completion and is open to the public right in time for the school holidays.

The Glascott Landscape and Civil are grateful to City of Moreton Bay for entrusting us to deliver this special space. The playground features:

• New car park spaces to provide additional parking for the growing community.
• A water play area for the younger kids, featuring a water pump with mist cloud stones.
• An exciting Playscape Creations – Kuranda Tower & Kuranda Play Cubby for the smaller kids.
• Softfall surfaces and additional Shade Sails for safety and comfort.
• A new shelter with BBQ facilities, drinking fountain & seating.

We are delighted to see the community embrace their upgraded playground and open space.
