Building on Success: Glascott Landscape & Civil Awarded Kurri Kurri Netball Facility Project

Following the successful completion of the Kurri Kurri Town Centre upgrade, our first project for Cessnock City Council, we’re thrilled to announce that Glascott Landscape & Civil has been awarded the Kurri Kurri Netball Facility Project at Booth Park. This exciting development aims to enhance local participation in netball, support school groups and community organisations, and provide the capacity to host tournaments and events in Kurri Kurri.

Scope of Works

Our team will deliver comprehensive upgrades, including:

  • 12 new plexipave surfaced netball courts with floodlighting to facilitate play at all times.
  • A multipurpose half-court to accommodate diverse sporting activities.
  • A new amenities building featuring storage, a canteen, changerooms, referee’s room, first aid room, meeting space, office, and toilet facilities.
  • Two car parks to improve accessibility for players and spectators.
  • Park furniture to enhance visitor comfort.
  • Onsite Stormwater Detention system to manage stormwater runoff effectively.
  • Landscaping to create an inviting environment.

Project Timeline

Construction begins in early 2025, with completion estimated by December 2025.
