Exciting Progress at Alroy Oval Sports Precinct
26/03/2025

Construction is well underway at the Alroy Oval Sports Precinct in Singleton, with Glascott Landscape and Civil’s Hunter division making significant strides on this transformative project for Singleton Council.
The development is set to deliver a state-of-the-art sports hub for the community, with a particular focus on promoting participation in organised sports among women and girls.
Key features of the project include:
-
A new female-friendly and fully accessible amenities building
-
Renovation of existing football fields and installation of a third full-sized field
-
Improved stormwater management and irrigation systems
-
New footpaths and upgraded sports lighting
-
Enhanced car park facilities
James Brown, Regional Manager Hunter & Central Coast at Glascott Landscape and Civil, commented on the progress: “We’re making excellent headway at Alroy Oval. With demolition and bulk earthworks completed, we’re now focusing on installing essential services and importing topsoil for the sports fields. The amenities building slab works are also progressing well. We’re excited to deliver this fantastic facility for the community.”
The project is on track for completion by September 2025. This redevelopment will not only benefit the Singleton Strikers Football Club but will also create a vibrant hub for community sporting events, fostering a new generation of athletes in the region.
