26/03/2025

Exciting progress is being made at the Kurri Kurri Netball Facility, where Glascott Landscape & Civil’s Hunter division is bringing this community-focused project to life for Cessnock City Council.
The district is poised to become a dynamic hub for netball fans and families alike, with the building progressing well at all stages.
Project Scope Recap
The project will feature six state-of-the-art netball court developments, energy-efficient LED lighting, shaded seating areas, and modern facilities, including change rooms and a kiosk. The design prioritises accessibility and sustainability, ensuring the facility meets the needs of players, spectators, and local clubs for many years.
Latest Progress Highlights
Recent updates showcase earthworks and drainage nearing completion, with asphalt laying for the courts progressing ahead of schedule. The team has already begun erecting fundamental seats and lighting structures that align with Glascott’s commitment to quality and precision.
“This project is about more than just construction—it’s about creating a space where the community can connect and thrive,” said James Brown, Regional Manager at Glascott Landscape & Civil. “Seeing the facility take shape is incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud to contribute to Kurri Kurri’s sporting future.”
Glascott’s local expertise is driving the construction, and the precinct is scheduled to open in late 2025. Once completed, it will hold regional competitions, training sessions, and events for the community, cementing Kurri Kurri’s status as a netball destination in NSW.
