CREEC Adventure Playground Opening Draws Big Crowd

04/07/2024

Last week, over 900 people gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the CREEC Adventure Park in Burpengary, with the Moreton Bay community welcoming this new and improved recreational space.

The CREEC Adventure Playground, the latest enhancement to the Caboolture Region Environment Education Centre (CREEC), is a nature-inspired play area designed to immerse children in the natural world while enhancing their physical, social, cognitive, and creative abilities. This playground blends Moreton Bay’s stunning natural landscapes with engaging play elements, creating an intergenerational haven for the community.

Glascott Landscape and Civil collaborated closely with City of Moreton Bay, SLR Consulting, and Urban Play to bring this innovative playground to life in time for the school holidays. The team ensured every element was carefully constructed with minimal impact on the environment to deliver a beautiful and engaging space that meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

Glascott is proud to have partnered with the City of Moreton Bay on this significant community project. The Adventure Playground at CREEC reflects our commitment to creating signature park destinations that harmonise with the environment and provide lasting value to the community.
