Evatt Shops Play Space Now Complete

Glascott Landscape and Civil is proud to celebrate the completion of the Evatt Shops Play Space — a vibrant, inclusive playground built in partnership with the ACT Government.

This marks our third successful collaboration on all-abilities spaces following Casey Community Recreational Park and the Inner North Playground, continuing our commitment to delivering infrastructure that supports connection, play, and accessibility for all.

Located in the heart of Evatt, the new play space features:

  • A range of accessible and nature-based play equipment, including a nest swing, balancing logs, sensory play panels, and wheelchair-friendly elements

  • Soft-fall surfacing to ensure safety and comfort

  • Shaded seating areas and a new toilet block

  • Improved access with new parking bays, wheelchair-accessible footpaths, and stairs

  • A resurfaced service area enhancing safety and functionality

  • Landscaping and a mural that bring colour, shade and character to the space

This project reflects Glascott’s expertise in delivering inclusive, high-quality open space environments, aligned with the ACT Government’s vision for a more connected and equitable Canberra.
