Description:

Casey Community Recreation Park aims to create a vibrant and inclusive space for the community to play, relax, and connect with nature. Incorporating feedback from residents, the design provides a range of play and activity options to cater to the diverse needs and interests of visitors of all ages and abilities.

Key deliverables include:

  • Accessible toilet facilities
  • Shade structures
  • BBQ and Picnic areas
  • Play Equipment to encourage interaction with the natural environment
  • Non-verbal Signage to foster inclusivity
  • A Multi-Purpose Court
  • Flying Fox
  • Amphitheatre
  • Open Spaces Turf and Soft Landscaping Elements

Preserving the existing environment was a key consideration, with the construction ensuring the protection of the natural surroundings.

The new park offers a wide range of well-designed spaces for rest and play, promoting health, well-being, and community engagement while complementing the existing playgrounds and off-leash dog park.
