Description:

Glascott Landscape and Civil are currently bringing to life the Casey Community Recreation Park. This exciting project for the ACT Government aims to create a vibrant and inclusive space where the community can play, relax, and connect with nature.

Incorporating feedback from residents, the new park will offer a range of play and activity options, catering to the diverse needs and interests of visitors of all ages and abilities.

The design incorporates community priorities, such as accessible toilet facilities, shade structures, BBQ and picnic areas, and play equipment that encourages interaction with the natural environment.

A multi-purpose court, flying fox, amphitheatre, and open play spaces will provide endless opportunities for recreation and enjoyment. Preserving the existing natural space was a key consideration, and the design ensures the protection and integration of the surrounding trees and plants.

Once completed, Casey Community Recreation Park will offer a wide range of well-designed spaces for rest and play, promoting health, well-being, and community engagement while complementing the existing playgrounds and off-leash dog park.
