North Head Viewing Platforms project, led by Glascott Landscape and Civil, presented a unique opportunity to be involved in a culturally sensitivity and architecturally innovative project of enduring significance.

Located along the cliff edge within the North Head Sanctuary, the project aimed to enhance the visitor experience while paying homage to the Traditional Custodians, the Gayamagal People.

Glascott Landscape and Civil executed this project with meticulous attention to detail and utmost respect for the site’s natural and cultural significance, expertly configuring large sandstone blocks, pavers, and concrete, to turn them into the envisioned structures at this highly frequented destination.

Working diligently to deliver the highly technical specifications, the team managed extreme weather conditions at the exposure site and limited access to material transportation.

Every element was meticulously crafted to meet the highest standards, ensuring the project lived up to its significance as a landmark destination.
